“ Do not get all bashing on king buffet, eaten here for years, also lived in China years, food is great here and authentic, green beans are second only to what I ate in China. Mushrooms are as they should be as well. Evenings the prawns, shrimp, sushi also good. never had cold food here, oh and the whiners on fried rice, properly fried rice has some grains a bit crisp not from a rice cooker soft, mushy rice, hence fried rice. Kalifornians wanting to be catered to and eat over spiced and seasoned food, this is not for you. Depends when you come in maybe on the food quality. we eat here regularly. all the prawns, muscles, clams, tuna sushi we eat here we are getting a bargain compared to sushi at 7 a pop two piece orders at other places. never gotten sick here either. ”

They also have a sushi chef there making fresh sushi so just that alone makes it worth the price! Mongolian grill, sushi bar(with actual good sushi), clams, all the traditional Chinese buffet options and my personal favorite, walnut shrimp. “ With the Fandango Buffet CLOSED, this King Buffet is the only real buffet in town here in Carson City. It's actually not bad and with realistic expectations, you can have a good time eating here. Best time to get here is 11am, when the food is all fresh and hot. If you want the giant jumbo prawns, that;'s for dinner and starts at 3:30pm. The wings are good here too, just take some of that general's chicken sauce and pour it over, that's some good eatin there! They have beer here too as well as french fries. ”
